The following examples compare the previous Vanilla Poker Affiliate Program with the new Ecology Revenue Share Policy.
The assumptions
For comparison purposes, the following assumptions apply to every example below:
- Cash Game Rake: $10,000
- Player Rakeback: 30% ($3,000)
- Net Gaming Revenue (NGR): $7,000
Under the previous affiliate program, affiliates received 20% of total Cash Game rake — a flat $2,000 in every one of these scenarios, whatever their players did.
Under the new Ecology Revenue Share Program, affiliates receive a percentage of Net Gaming Revenue based on their monthly Ecology Ratio.

The break-even point sits between an Ecology Ratio of +5% and +10%. Below it, the Ecology model pays you more than the old one did — up to $2,900 more on the same $10,000 of rake. Above it, it pays you less.
What this actually means
The new Ecology Revenue Share Policy is designed to reward affiliates based not only on the amount of rake they generate, but also on the overall quality and sustainability of their player pool.
Affiliates who contribute to a healthier Cash Game ecosystem by referring recreational and balanced players can earn substantially more than under the previous affiliate program.
Conversely, affiliates whose player pools consistently achieve high long-term profitability will receive lower Revenue Share percentages, encouraging a more sustainable ecosystem for all participants.
The objective of the Ecology Revenue Share Policy is to align affiliate incentives with the long-term success of both Vanilla Poker and the WePlay Poker Network.
